released a new version of the installer Asbestos, this time under a new name and that starting with version BootOS 2.01.Questa new version solves all the problems occurred with the release of the previous version 2.0 ASBESTOS.
INSTALLATION STEP 1 - DOWNLOAD NECESSARY FILES
Download: BootOS v2.1 (3.41 MB) (3.00MB)
Download: Debian.rar - working version of Linux (295.14MB )
Download: LV2-v9.zip - Patch LV2 version 9 (111.14 KB)
STEP 2 - INSTALLAZIONE DI LINUX
1)Procuriamoci una chiavetta Usb formattata in FAT32,copiamo al suo interno il file pkg BootOS v2.1. Accendiamo la Console,colleghiamo la Usb alla PS3 e dal menu "Install Package Files" , installiamo il tool BootOS v2.1
2)Estraiamo il contenuto del file Lv2-v9.zip nella chiavetta usb (formattata in FAT32),colleghiamo la chiavetta alla Console PS3 e installiamo la patch lv2 dal menu "Install Package Files"
3)Adesso muniamoci di un hd Esterno o di una chiavetta USb,creiamo una partizione in FAT 32 e al suo interno copiamogli il file linux.img estratto dal file debian.rar scaricato in precedenza.
4)Colleghiamo l'hd esterno o la chiavetta Usb dove abbiamo copiato linux alla PS3 e avviamo la Console.
5) We initiate the LV2 v9 patch from the XMB and select the Console Linux
6) When we are required: Login: ps3, password: ps3.
NOTE: If you previously installed Linux using a previous version of instllare (various Asbestos, simply delete the old Installer.pkg and install the new menu install BootOS 2.1 Package files)
